<title>Zakat and the Islamic Money System, and a new Islamic Society for the 21st Century</title>
    <link>http://zakatpages.com</link>
<description>The illuminated City, Madina, under the noble Prophet, peace be upon him, and then under those who immediately succeeded him, is the true dynamic model on which any Islamic society must be based. This model has for centuries been brought to life in many differnt places and in many differnt times. These include the Mahgrib, Andalusia, West Africa, Topkapi and Nusantara. there is no doubt that with child abuse, usury, atheism drug use (legal and illegal) and the break-up of the family now rampant throughout society, the only hope is Islam. the strange truth is that if people (Muslim and non-Muslim) really understood the reality of the Islamic dawla we would unite to see it in place at the earlist opportunity.</description>

<itunes:summary>In these tals we are reminded that we must obey Allah both in command AND prohibition. The first commands to obey must be the five pillars of Islam. The main thing to avoid is Usury.riba, as Allah tells us that both He and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bles him and grant him peace, have declared war upon it.

Who then, can argue that these should not be the priority of any Muslim activist or person in authority</itunes:summary>
